Refund and Exchange Policy

1. General Refund Policy

1.1 NUST Connected operates under a no-refund policy for all courses, given the digital nature of the materials and immediate access provided upon payment.
1.2 Refunds may only be considered under exceptional circumstances, such as double payments or proven technical errors on the platform’s side. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to info@connected.nust.edu.pk.

2. Course Exchange Policy

2.1 Exchanges between courses are not generally permitted unless explicitly stated in promotional offers or course-specific terms.
2.2 In rare cases where a course exchange is approved, users may be required to pay any price difference or forfeit partial access to the original course.

3. Refund and Exchange Requests

3.1 Requests for refunds or exchanges must be submitted within 7 days of payment. The request should include the user’s name, email, transaction ID, and a detailed explanation of the issue.
3.2 Refund requests, if eligible, will be processed within 14 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

4.1 Refunds will not be granted for the following situations:
4.1.1 Failure to complete the course within the access duration.
4.1.2 Technical issues caused by the user’s device or internet connection.
4.1.3 Dissatisfaction with the course content if it aligns with the provided course description.

5.1 Users with inquiries about refunds or exchanges may contact NUST Connected’s customer support team at our email.

6. Course Suitability

6.1 Users are strongly encouraged to review course descriptions, objectives, and prerequisites before enrolling to ensure the course meets their needs.
6.2 Refund requests based on course dissatisfaction will only be considered if the course fails to meet the outlined objectives or includes significant inaccuracies.

7. Request Process for Refunds or Exchanges

7.1 Users must submit refund or exchange requests in writing to info@connected.nust.edu.pk with the following details:

     Transaction ID

     Reason for the Request

7.2 Requests missing any of the above details may experience processing delays or rejection.

8. Timeline for Refund Processing

8.1 Refund requests, if approved, will be processed within 14 to 21 business days. Users will receive confirmation via email upon approval or rejection of their request.
8.2 The timeline may vary depending on the user’s payment method, bank policies, or any additional investigations required.

9. Exchange Process and Guidelines

9.1 Approved course exchanges must be completed within 7 days of the original purchase. Users may be required to pay any price differences or forfeit part of their initial access if the new course is of lower value.
9.2 Exchanges will only be approved if the requested course is similar in scope and category to the originally purchased course.

10. Non-Transferability of Refunds or Credits

10.1 Refunds or credits issued to a user account cannot be transferred to another user or account.
10.2 Any misuse or fraudulent activity involving refunds or credits will result in immediate account suspension and may lead to further legal action.

11. Exceptions and Limitations

11.1 NUST Connected reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges in cases where:

  1. The course was accessed for over 25% of its content.
  2. The user failed to meet technical requirements (e.g., device incompatibility).
  3. The user exhibited misuse of the platform’s resources, such as sharing credentials.

11.2 Users requesting refunds or exchanges multiple times may be subject to stricter scrutiny or limitations on future enrollments.
